Pursuant to the provisions of Section 75.3 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering material changes to the business operations of Chestermere Utilities Incorporated, as recommended by the CUI Board.
A Special Meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the City of Chestermere City Hall on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing a report on the CUI Board’s recommendations and public representations on the proposed changes to CUI.
The proposed changes may be reviewed on the City Website at www.chestermere.ca/cui or at City Hall, 105 Marina Road, during regular office hours. The City of Chestermere and CUI have issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for solid waste collections, hauling and processing services. The CUI board is pleased to announce that they have hired Mr. Rick Quail to serve as the functional interim CEO of CUI.
